Tim joined the Melbourne team at Floyd Energy® as a Thermal Performance Assessor to continue his passion in building sustainability and thermal performance assessments.

His work history crosses many disciplines, including sustainable residential building design, architectural drafting and thermal performance assessments across a range of building classes.

With three years’ experience working in NSW for a leading building & energy certification company, he also has knowledge in BASIX certifications for development application process in NSW.

Tim Brewin works closely with building designers, architects, project managers and building inspectors to assess and verify compliance of thermal performance in new buildings, and alterations and additions.

His tertiary qualifications in architectural building design and drafting, in combination with almost ten years’ experience as a home energy assessor, has provided him with a strong understanding of sustainable design principles and the ability to perform residential thermal analysis across Australia.

He has qualifications in Dip. Building Design & Technology (RMIT), Cert IV in NatHERS Assessments, BDAV Accredited Thermal Performance Assessor, BASIX Accredited.
